McKellen Not Dumbledore After All
Staff Reporter

(From the Ottawa Citizen, January 2nd)

The Harry Potter flicks are getting a new headmaster -- and the lucky actors name isn't Ian McKellen. It's Michael Gambon, who has been given the role that became available when Richard Harris died in October. Gambon, a respected British thespian who is nominated for Emmy and Golden Globe awards for his performance as Lyndon Johnson in HBO's 'Path to War', will don the robes for the forthcoming 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban', slated for release in 2004.
